OPINION: AC Milan players crying crocodile tears as Berlusconi makes another senseless decision
It happened when Massimiliano Allegri was dismissed back in 2014 and history repeated itself with Clarence Seedorf and Filippo Inzaghi in charge.
We had already suggested that not every player was in sync with Mihajlovic, despite most of them had backed the Serbian tactician after the team’s disappointing results and Berlusconi’s lack of confidence in the former Samp boss.
However, Mihajlovic needed facts, not words. Everyone knew he would have to part ways with the San Siro outfit at the end of the season, but players have showed much more commitment during mid-week interviews rather than during week-end games.
We believe AC Milan do not only need players with more quality than those who are currently in the squad, but also true men with strong mental attributes.
We are sick and tired of seeing players crying crocodile tears for another manager who’s lost his job. We are even more annoyed by Berlusconi’s attitude and senseless decision. The AC Milan we used to know does not exist anymore.
We could also change the club’s name into AC Berlusconi, just to boost the ego of a man who is not in touch with reality anymore, but that wouldn't change the fans' fury nor the fact that players will carry on crying without shame.
