REVEALED! When Fabio Capello could be offered the Italy job
Lot of managers have been linked with the Italy job, but Fabio Capello is definitely the most experienced one among those on Carlo Tavacchio’s shortlist which includes Roberto Donadoni, Giampiero Ventura, Gan Piero Gasperini, Luigi Di Biagio or Fabio Cannavaro with Marco Tardelli.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, Italy FA’s president will meet Capello at Udine’s Dacia Stadium on Thursday the 24th of March when they will both attend the Azzurri’s friendly game against Spain. That’s when the duo could start some preliminary talks concerning Capello’s appointment as Italy boss.
Capello, 69, has already coached England and Russia national teams and has leaded some of the best European clubs like AC Milan, Juventus and Real Madrid, winning five Serie A titles, four Italian Super Cups, two La Liga titles, one Champions League and one UEFA SuperCup.
