EXCLUSIVE Romano: Candreva between Inter and Juve

21 April at 09:45
During the next transfer window, Inter Milan will try to reinforce their team’s flank, and –as well known- their executives are in advanced talks with the agents of Lazio 29-year-old Antonio Candreva: the latter has already expressed the wish to leave Rome, however, it won’t be easy to deal with the biancocelesti’s president Claudio Lotito.
Moreover, the Italy international is also on Juventus’ wishlist, even if the bianconeri are not intentioned to spend the €25 million required by Lotito; so, the Serie A defending champions’ priority is try to keep the 28-year-old Juan Cuadrado, even though it seems difficult that Antonio Conte will renounce to bring the Colombia international back to Chelsea. An alternative remains Sassuolo 24-year-old Sime Vrsaljko, also considering the good relations between the two clubs. Juve consider then Candreva an option but not a priority.
For this reason, Inter will try to speed up the negotiation for the former Udinese man: the Lombard club’s Sporting Director Piero Ausilio is thinking about offering €20 million plus bonuses to Lazio, taking advantage of the player’s will and of Juve’s doubts.
