Serie A: AC Milan to meet Liverpool over Balotelli’s future

24 April at 09:41
AC Milan will meet Liverpool to talk about the future of cumbersome striker Mario Balotelli at the end of the season, Italian media have reported.

The player doesn’t want to go back to the Premier League club, nor Jurgen Klopp wants him back at Anfield Road. The San Siro outfit, would be open to Balo stay, should he decide to lower his € 4.5 million a year salary.

Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola has already told the rossoneri that the player’s priority is to stay at AC Milan next season and the Serie A giants are expected to meet Liverpool in the next few weeks in order to open transfer talks to extend the 26-year-old’s stay in Milan.

Scorer of just one goal in Serie A this season, Balotelli has been also linked with a move to Lazio in a player-plus swap deal for Lucas Biglia, a target of Jurgen Klopp.
