AC Milan: Seedorf until 2016. Inter: D'Ambrosio farther

As reported yesterday, the main candidate to replace Massimiliano Allegri as AC Milan coach is their former midfielder Clarence Seedorf, actually playing for Botafogo: according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Dutchman will join next Thursday and will sign a three-and-a-half year deal with the rossoneri. Meanwhile, the Lombard club’s transfer market campaign seems in stand-by, probably because they want to verify the new coac’s ideas: for example, as exclusively reported by calciomercato.com, 31 year old goalkeeper Marco Amelia, who had asked to leave the club during the current transfer window, seems to have changed his mind after Allegri’s firing. For the moment, Milan have officialized the returb to “San Siro” of 18 year old forward Andrea Petagna, until now on loan at Sampdoria. In any case, the rossoneri remain attentive to some interesting situations, like the one of Lazio 28 year old midfielder Hernanes, whose contract will expire in June 2015 and who is also tracked by city rivals Inter Milan. This latters keep on seeking a wingback, and the negotiation for their main target for such position, Torino 25 year old Danilo D’Ambrosio, could fail, as the Lombard club doesn’t seem intentioned to accomplish the request of the granata, who require 27 year old attacking midfielder Ruben Botta.
