Juventus will not acquire Alberto Aquilani; the Italian midfielder, on loan from Liverpool this season, is considered too expensive: Liverpool are asking 16 million euro.

Aquilani has convinced Juventus with his performance, but there is no agreement with the "Reds". Time is running out: "The option to buy must be used by the 15th of May - said Beppe Marotta, the Bianconeri general manager - "We are trying to reach an agreement, but I can certainly say that we won't pay what Liverpool are demanding".

The negotiation is therefore on stand by. Juventus want to acquire the player also because they will be forced to go back to the market. Perhaps the two clubs will find an agreement at a more reasonable price.
