Barbara Berlusconi admits Milan’s target is to qualify for Europa League

Barbara Berlusconi, daughter to Milan’s president Silvio and board of directors member at the club has attended a joint press conference today alongside representatives from Inter and the teams' captains Riccardo Montolivo and Mauro Icardi, ahead of the Milan’s derby, scheduled for Sunday evening.

Mrs. Berlusconi was asked about Milan’s objectives in the current Serie A campaign as the Rossoneri sit 6th in the table with 33 points.

“You have to be honest with all the fans there. Our target for this season is to qualify for Europa League. Next year we'll try to get a Champions League placement, that’s our natural environment.”

“I am not going to make any prediction about the derby, it brings bad luck. I hope it’ll be a moment of joy for football, regardless the result.”

“Galliani have a different point view. Sometimes we don’t share the same ideas about the future of football, but we always work in behalf of Milan.”

“We have different roles and different ages too, but cooperation between the two parties is important, now more than ever.”

“We have already planned San Siro improvement works with Inter ahead of the Champions League final, but we want to get the property of the stadium.”

“We are in talks with Mr. Bee to sell him a minority stake in the team. Negotiations have been put on hold at the moment, but it’s something quite common for every company at this stage. I hope everything will be fine in the end”
