EXCLUSIVE Romano: Juventus' ongoing negotiations for Barca stars
So Juve fans, what's new?
Dani Alves looks to be inching closer and closer to the Bianconeri: Marotta and Paratici plan to offer him a two, possible three-year-deal, and are close to reaching an agreement on the bonuses with the Brazilian.
Both Barcelona and Juventus are nervous, the former because they don't want to part with the former Sevilla man, the latter because someone else could try to interject and spoil the party.
The Old Lady is also making the most of Jorge Mendes' visit to Turin to talk about Andre Gomes (though Manchester United are also interested), and are still pursuing Miralem Pjanic.
What about Javier Mascherano? The Bianconeri are preparing a trip to Barcelona to try to seal the deal, but the Catalan club is very enthusiastic about keeping him. Though the former Liverpool man will listen to their offer, he is tempted by a new adventure. Barcelona are hardly willing to offer Juventus a discount, a bit of a problem as the Bianconeri don't think they should have to overpay for a 32-year-old.
