EXCLUSIVE: The four wonderkids Fiorentina are scouting in Argentina

Fiorentina’s transfer strategy has become quite an issue for all La Viola fans. The club failed to strengthen the team last January causing controversies between them and the Tuscans’ ultras.

Even if the Della Valle brothers may not invest a huge amount of money in new recruits in the upcoming summer window, the club’s objective is still to strengthen a team which has been qualifying to Europe for many successive seasons.

According to CM.com’s David Fabbri, representatives from La Viola have been scouting several interesting talents during their trips to Argentina.

The name of Rodrigo Bentancur tops every European sporting director’s wish-list, though the Boca Juniors wonderkid has attracted the interest of bigger clubs than Fiorentina, namely Benfica, Juventus and Real Madrid. The Old Lady has an option to buy him, while the Portuguese and Spanish sides have already made their offers. The powerful football agent Jorgé Mendes is also pondering to acquire the player’s economic rights and sell him to any other European club afterwards.

Bentancur’s teammate Andres Cubas could be the right man at the right time. Juventus are also keeping tabs on him, but if the bianconeri will decide to sign Bentancur, La Viola would be ready to make their bid for the promising 20-year-old midfielder.

Former Catania star Gino Peruzzi (pictured above) could be an option to upgrade the team’s right flank. Currently playing at Boca Juniors, his price tag is believed to be in the region of € 4 million and with Paulo Sousa who’s been forced to adapt both Federico Bernardeshi and Christian Tello in that role, Peruzzi could finally solve La Viola’s woes on the right flank.

Huracan’s starlet Cristian Omar Espinoza is the last name Daniele Pradé has shortlisted. Born in 1995, Espinoza is a striker who’s been already linked with moves to Benfica, Genoa and Palermo. If Huracan will agree his sale for less than € 10 million, Fiorentina could try to sign him in the summer.
