FOCUS: Inter, green light for Touré

During a meeting with his club’s fans in Indonesia, Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has explained that the team is missing a leader, and has then implied which will be the priority for the next transfer window. The Asian tycoon has also named some former players like Javier Zanetti and Cristian Chivu.

Who is then the nerazzurri’s main target? Yaya Touré, despite some deceiving performances during the last season, could be the right man: the Ivorian midfielder is not just very strong from the technical point of view, but he also has a strong personality; regarding the 33-year-old, then, Thohir and Mancini could share a same point of view.

Lazio playmaker Lucas Biglia is a leader on the pitch too. The Argentine is an Inter target, and Mancini admires him. However, it won’t be easy to start a negotiation with the biancocelesti for the former Anderlecht man.
