From England: Yaya Touré snubs Inter move

Yaya Touré could remain at Manchester City for one more season, until his contract expires in 2017. That’s what emerges from today’s British papers that claim that the Ivorian International could spend one last season at the Etihad before moving out as a free agent next summer.

No secret that Roberto Mancini wants to bring the 33-year-old to the San Siro to strengthen Inter’s midfield, though the player’s salary is so high that Erik Thohir doesn’t believe that it would be a good investment to make, especially for a centre midfielder who is edging closer towards the end of his career.

Both Touré and his agent had been suggesting that the Ivorian star could have left Manchester City after the appointment of Guardiola, but it seems that the player has now changed his mind and wants to stay at his current club, snubbing a reunion with his former manager Mancini
