Inter are closing in on the signing of Portuguese star Joao Mario (read details here) and the arrival of the 23-year-old will force Inter to sell one of their midfielders in order to stick to FFP rules.

Marcelo Brozovic is known to be the big name who might be leaving the San Siro this summer. The Croatia International’s entourage met Inter DS Piero Ausilio yesterday.

Ausilio informed the player’s agents that the club is not going to offer him a contract extension and that he is available on the market for a fee of € 25-30 million.

Inter have yet to receive any official offer for the Dinamo Zagreb man, but Juventus and Arsenal are believed to be interested in welcoming the player’s services.

Juventus, in particular, hope to be at front of the queue as the Serie A champions are on very good terms with Doyen’s CEO Nelio Lucas who represents the 23-year-old midfielder.
