Juventus News: Agent hits out at Rugani’s bench role
“The club keep saying that Rugani is important for them and that he’s their first choice after the trio Barzagli-Bonucci-Chiellini”, Daniele Torchia told Radio CRC.
“Andrea Barzagli was injured yesterday and everyone expected Rugani to play from the first minute, but Caceres was deployed instead. I just hope they won’t change their mind.”
“This choice has left me perplex since Rugani played very well in Coppa Italita [against Torino].”
No secret that Napoli head coach Maurizio Sarri is a long-time admirer of the 21-year-old full back and would like to bring him to the San Paolo.
“Rugani and Sarri admire each other, but Napoli can’t wait for Rugani [to join them]. Juventus don’t want to sell him, which makes everything more difficult.”
Juventus consider Rugani a milestone of their future and have no intension of selling him, sources told calciomercato.com after Torchia’s interview.
