Juventus transfer news: youngester scouted, Old Lady closing in on €30m duo

Italian newspapers out this morning give some very interesting updates on Juventus’ January transfer activity. As we reported yesterday, The Old Lady’s top midfield target for the incoming transfer window is Axel Wiltsel. Juventus don’t want to invest big money on the Belgian midfielder who has already an agreement with Juventus and would move to the J Stadium as a free agent at the end of the season in case Zenit blocks his exit next month.

Anderlecht midfielder Youri Tielemans is one of the most talented compatriots of Witsel and the Old Lady has been scouting him for very long time, Tuttosport reports. A representative of the Serie A giants attends every Anderlecht game to monitor the 19-year-old promise whose market value is around € 25 million. Juventus are not likely to close a deal in the winter transfer window, but Tielemans remains one of the most interesting midfielders around Europe and Juventus are not the only club interested in welcoming his services next summer. The Belgian youngster has 10 goals and 5 assists in 25 games with Anderlecht so far this season.

How not to mention promising Atalanta duo Franck Kessié and Mattia Caldara? According to a report of La Stampa, Marotta and Paratici are due to met Atlanta president Percassi on Monday to finalize the move of the promising duo to the J Stadium. The current Serie A leaders are set to pay € 30 million for both players who, however, are not going to move to Turin straight away but will spend six more months on loan at Atalanta before moving to the J Stadium at the end of the season. If the report is confirmed Tottenham, Liverpool, Inter and AC Milan are set to miss out on some of their January transfer targets.
