"He's always been a good guy, now he's more mature and will show his talent. Cassano is good for Italy, but as far as Inter are concerned we haven't thought about him. We used to talk about him when Mancini was our coach, but nothing more". These are Massimo Moratti's words on Cassano.

On Rafa Benitez and the comparison with José Mourinho, Moratti said: "Benitez knows how to go beyond the comparison with the past. The fans are on his side too, they understood his philosophy".

On the Scudetto: "I am not pessimistic because the other teams are stronger. We are not an old team, we haven't won 10 years ago but only two months ago. Additionally we believe in young players. Some of them are already with us, others will arrive this season".

Moratti then confirmed a negotiation with Parma for Antonelli: "We conducted a negotiation but it became very complicated because the player was too expensive".
