Outlining the three Serie A stars that Atletico Madrid want to sign
Representatives of the Colchoneros have used their trip to Milan to meet agents and clubs of players that they are interested in signing.
According to Sky Sport Italia journalist Mario Giunta, La Liga giants met Inter yesterday to have an update on the situation of Marcelo Brozovic. Atletico made no offers, but they informed the nerazzurri about their interest.
Giunta also reports that Sime Vrsaljko agents have had a private meeting with the Champions League finalists. The duo was spotted while entering Atletico’s temporary headquarters in Milan this morning and are believed to have received an offer for the Croatia International.
Finally, this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Diego Simeone wants Lorenzo Insigne. Colchoners’ € 30 million bid, however, was rejected by Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis who doesn’t want to lose a product of the club’s academy.
