    Repubblica: Beijing consortium close to buying 50% of Milan?

    This is a sizzler. According to Italian broadsheet La Repubblica, a Beinjing-based consortium has agreed to the outline of the sale of 50% of AC Milan with Fininvest, with a view to taking over a majority of the club within two years. 

    Only problem is, owner Silvio Berlusconi is hesitating over the deal, in which the club is being valued at 630 million. 

    Meanwhile, Tuttosport claims that the now-parsimonious AC Milan could be forced to sell Carlos Bacca in summer if the club is unable to earn Champions League qualificaition, and the consequent TV rights windfall.
