This will be quite an unusual Saturday for all Serie A lovers as there are four matches in program instead of only two. Sassuolo-Genoa and Chievo-Carpi will be played after Frosinone-Inter’s final whistle, while AC Milan will host Juventus at the San Siro in the night for the most interesting game of the week-end in Italy’s top-flight.
The Derby of Tuscany (Empoli-Fiorentina) is scheduled for Sunday afternoon (12.30pm Italy time). Tomorrow Simone Inzaghi will make his Serie A debut as Lazio manager against strugglers Frosinone, second-placed Napoli will host Verona before the Monday night game between AS Roma and Bologna.
After last Sunday’s Partenopei defeat, the Giallorossi are in race for a second spot, sitting only four points behind Maurizio Sarri’s side.
