  • AC Milan to close Musacchio deal if Bacca agrees terms with West Ham today

AC Milan to close Musacchio deal if Bacca agrees terms with West Ham today

This could be a decisive day for the future of AC Milan. Carlos Bacca is expected to give West Ham a final answer after that the Colombian striker has received a contract offer from the Hammers. If Bacca agrees terms with the Premier League club, AC Milan will cash in € 30 million that will be partially invested on the signing of Mateo Musacchio.

Rumours from Spain suggest that the 25-year-old centre back did not take part to today’s training session with the rest of the team putting his future at the club into serious doubt.

Adriano Galliani has already reached agreement with the player and will meet the Spanish club today to negotiate Musacchio’s transfer fee.

The Argentinean defender has a release clause set to € 50 million, AC Milan want to offer half of that sum: € 25 million which Berlusconi is not willing to invest, especially now that he’s finalizing the sale of a majority share in the club to a Chinese consortium.

If AC Milan are to sign Musacchio, they can only do it with proceeds from the sale of Carlos Bacca.
