Agent: Torino target Immobile won't come cheap

Following a difficult season up front for Torino, it looks like the Granata will need all the firepower they can get next season.

How about Ciro Immobile, who enjoyed his brief return to his old hunting grounds (goals in 12 games) before going down with injury?

Benched both at Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla, it could appear that the 26-year-old Italian international would prefer to return to the club that catapulted him into the Serie A scoring charts.

His agent, however, doesn't seem to think so.

In the same interview we previously quoted, agent Alessandro Moggi spoke of his client's current situation.

“Does he prefer Italy? We're not excluding any possibilities, obviously's Ciro's first thoughts are towards the Euros”.

Moggi then went on to discuss whether Torino could keep him, though Immobile will likely come at a cost, having been acquired by Sevilla for €11 million.

“Torino can exercise their buyout clause by June 30th.

“There has been a meeting with the Granata, [president] Cairo knows that Sevilla aren't offering discounts at the moment”.
