    Candreva does not show up for Lazio's training camp, Inter transfer almost a done deal

    Antonio Candreva can be considered a new player of Inter. Mancini had asked the club a new right winger putting the Italy International on top of his shopping list and Suning made the right offer earlier this week after more than a month of negotiations with Lazio.

    Candreva will join the nerazzurri outfit in a € 25 million deal (€ 22 million cash plus € 3 million of bonus).
    The 29-year-old was supposed to join his teammates at Lazio today for the beginning of the season, but Candreva did not show up at Lazio’s training centre Formello, suggesting that his transfer to the San Siro is almost a done deal.

    According to today’s edition of Il Corriere dello Sport, Candreva has taken a pay cut in order to allow Inter to raise their offer to Lazio. Candreva had initially agreed to sign a € 2.8 million-a-year deal, but he has eventually decided to get € 2.3 million a year. The one million euro (gross of tax) saved by Inter has been invested to rise the offer for Lazio.

    The player has also to get the credit for a positive end of negotiations between the clubs.
