EXCLUSIVE: Fiorentina in transfer talks to sign Brazilian starlet Thiago Maia
Calciomercato.com has exclusively talked to both player’s agents to understand if Fiorentina are really interested in signing the two promising Brazilians.
Wagner Ribeiro is not only Gabigol’s representative but the likes of Lucas and Neymar are also featuring on his clients’ list. Fiorentina have reportedly offered € 22 million to sign the Brazilian ace, but the best European sides, including Barcelona, are also rumored to be interested in securing the player’s services.
“There are no news on Gabigol’s future”, Mr. Ribeiro told CM.com’s Fabrizio Romano.
“I’ve read some interviews of people pretending to be Gabigol’s agent. That’s not like that. I am the only one who can represent him during negotiations.”
If Fiorentina fans can’t be too optimistic about Gabigol, Thiago Maia’s agent Alexis Malavolta has exclusively revealed CM.com, Fiorentina are in transfer talks to sign the 19-year-old midfielder.
“They made an offer through a middle-man. We are thinking about it, but we have yet to decide what to do.”
“Thiago Maia belongs to the Figer group and both me and Mr. Figer are responsible for the player’s future.”
