Real Madrid weren't the only winners last night, and Atletico Madrid weren't the only losers.

How so? Well, Mateo Kovacic didn't even make the Merengues' bench- a shocking indictment of his €29.5 million transfer fee. 

This sum will now overtake the €30m mark... seeing that a clause in his sale to Real stipulates that Inter would be owed a €1.25 bonus if the Galacticos won the Champions League.
