Serie A defending champions Juventus want to steal Borussia Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan from under Manchester City’s noses as the Citizens are leading the race to sign the Germany International who won’t extend his contract expiring in June 2017 with the Bundesliga giants.

CM.com’s transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano reports that Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici will meet the player’s agent at the beginning of March in order to understand if there’s still a chance to sign the 26-year-old playmaker.

Juventus and Man City are not the only two European sides to have set sights on Gundogan as Barcelona are also interested in signing him, that’s why Borussia Dortmund are in no rush to sell their star and will listen to all offers before taking a decision on his future.
