Adem Ljajic was on his way out from the Artemio Franchi but the arrival of Delio Rossi has changed things for the Serbian midfielder.

The player’s agent, Giorgio Paretti, told CM.com that Ljajic may in the end agree to stay in Tuscany.

“With the new manager at least he is not sitting on the bench even playing a part against Inter,” said Paretti.

“Let’s see what happens. We will meet Fiorentina next week to discuss options. For a young player like Adem is not the best option to change club in January because stepping in somewhere else could be complicated.

“He has been out for a long time and struggled because of it. Now he is slowly recovering, but it takes time,” added the agent.

“Rossi and Adem are getting to know each others. I would rather not talk about Sinisa Mihajlovic and what happened. They had a decent relationship, but the manager thinks about the team not individuals. Still I have my own ideas which I will keep to myself.”

Meanwhile, Fiorentina have received an offer from Napoli: the Azzurri would like to sell Giuseppe Mascara. The Viola are also considering the departure of goalkeeper Neto, who has been linked to Vasco da Gama. But Pantaleo Corvino wants send the Brazilian on loan somewhere in Italy.
