FOCUS: What happened to Mastour?
Tired of playing for the rossoneri’s youth team, last summer Mastour has joined –on loan- Malaga: the youngster started for the first time in the Liga during the game against Real Betis three months ago, he remained 5 minutes on the pitch and then his current boss Javi Garcia hasn’t called him again.
Even for what concerns the national team, Mastour doesn’t seem to have made the best choice: he has left Italy’s youth team for Morocco, but even in that case, he has made just one short appearance. Malaga and Milan could find an agreement to have the young player move back to San Siro earlier than expected, but, at least for the moment, there are no signs about such possibility. In this case, Mastour will have to honor his contract with the Spanish club, that will expire in June 2017; then, it will be up to the Boquerones to sign him to permanent basis and to the rossoneri to use the eventual rebuy clause.
