Despite transfer speculation, the future of Marek Hamsik is still in Napoli.

The Slovak ace extended his contract with the Azzurri until 2016. The deal is practically official as President Aurelio De Laurentiis is about to sign the contract papers.

The Azzurri patron went as far as saying the player is almost a son to him.

Hamsik has been linked to Manchester City, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain among others but his future will still be at the San Paolo.

• Juve on Athletic star

Juventus are following closely Athletic Bilbao ace Iker Munianin. The 19-year-old forward is tied to the Basque club until June 2015.

Bilbao have shown no intention to sell their starlet but, according to 4-4-2.com, the Bianconeri are trying to approach the player.

Munianin is regarded as one of the hottest talents in Spanish football and leaving the Basque club won’t be easy for him considering the strong spirit of nationalism in the region.

• Four for Farfan

According to Fifa agent Giacomo Petralito, Jefferson Farfan has been targeted by four Serie A clubs.

“Napoli have shown interest in him. Same goes for Milan, Fiorentina and Juventus,” explained the agent.

“However, there are no official offers yet.”

Farfan will be a free agent in the summer when his contract with Schalke 04 will expire.
