Its Immobile day at Lazio, as the Italian international striker is officially presented to the media. The 26-year-old stated that; “I’m happy to be here at Lazio and to have the possibility to wear this shirt. I’ve found great organisation since I arrived”. He then added that; “I first met with President Lotito at Euro 2016 who was with the Azzurri in a managerial capacity, to replace Klose is a huge responsibility for me”.
 

When the subject of the teams ambition for the season came up for discussion, Immobile was in no doubt on what their objectives are; “This team should aspire to be in the Champions League”. Finally, his choice of shirt number for the new season; “I’ve chosen the number 17 because I had this number at Pescara. It represents many things for me including the date of my wife’s birthday”.
