Inter: Zanetti uncertain about his future. AC Milan: Yanga-Mbiwa gets farther
During the interview accorded to Sky Sport 24, Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti has also talked about his future: the Argentine midfielder, who has turned 39 last month, has declared that for the moment he is just thinking about the current season, and only in June he will eveluate his situation together with the Moratti family. Regarding the possible signings, the nerazzurri will have to compete with other clubs for two of their targets: Arsenal seem in fact to have joined the Lombard club in the hunt for Udinese 28 year old right back Dušan Basta, while, according to Itasportpress, in addition to the nerazzurri, also Fiorentina are keen on FC Basel 21 year old center back Aleksandar Dragovic.
Montpellier 23 year old center back Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa is considered one of AC Milan’s main target, but, interviewed by calciomercato.com, Louis Nicollin, president of the French club, has declared: “AC Milan, Juventus and Barcelona after the player? I haven’t been contacted by anyone, I don’t know if they have talked with his agents, but I don’t care much about it, at the end of the season, when his contract will expire, he will decide. For sure he won’t move in January. If it’s true that we are trying to extend his deal at least for one season? We are working on it”. On the contrary, regarding the possible departures, Santos General Manager Felipe Paro, as reported by repubblica.it, has confirmed his club’s intention to sign 28 year old forward Robinho, while 25 year old midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng could move, according to 4-4-2.com, to Bayern Munich.
