    Juventus relaunch their assault on Bentancur but Milan has the OK from the player

    It’s becoming a real tussle on the transfer market between Juventus and Milan for Boca Juniors midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur. According to reports from Sky Sport, the bianconeri have decided to change their strategy for the player they have first refusal on by offering €3 million immediately and a further €7 million next season, leaving the player on-loan in Argentina for another season.
     
    This is an idea more pleasing to Boca who would like to nurture the 19-year-old Uruguayan for another season before he departs for Europe. Milan now risk losing another summer target to Juventus having already seen Pjaca head to Turin. The financial offer that the rossoneri have tabled for the player is better than Juve’s; €15 million with the player himself already giving the green-light on a move to the San Siro after being offered a five-year contract. Galliani is not keen to leave Bentancur on-loan for another season however as he wants to gift coach Montella with a new midfielder. The dual for Bentancur continues…
