Daniele Rugani has bided his time to get his big break at Juventus but after his goal against Atalanta on Saturday night, the 22-year-old looks set to commit his future to the club.
 

Juventus has already rejected several offers for the former Empoli man and now it seems that it’s only a matter of time before the player puts pen to paper on a contract extension. The likelihood is that Rugani will extend his stay until 2021 and will receive a significant pay increase at the same time. Now he’s no longer the shy youngster playing with fear but a player who has proven that he will be the future of the bianconeri’s back-line.  

Coach Allegri has never had any doubts about the quality he has at his disposal and has constantly stated that when the time is right, Rugani will be inserted into the starting XI. That time now looks to have arrived.
