It turns out that Juventus aren’t satisfied with merely recruiting Axel Witsel from the Benelux region.
It appears, in fact, that the Bianconeri’s director of sport, Fabio Paratici, sent scouts to watch Holland - Belgium (1-1) at the Amsterdam ArenA, and it wasn’t just for Witsel’s benefit.
Witsel recently declared that he’d play for Juventus in the near future, but that he wasn’t sure whether this would occur in January, or from next season onwards.
Remember, the Old Lady has long been interested in Yoeri Tielemans,
the young sensation who is doing great things at Anderlecht.
Beyond him, Riechedly Bazoer of Ajax is also being cosidered by the Turinese side, as well as Memphis Depay, who is currently struggling like the dickens at Manchester United.
Not appreciated by Jose Mourinho, the former PSV star could potentially leave Old Trafford this summer… and Juventus are still looking to sign a winger permanently, with Juan Cuadrado still belonging to Chelsea.
Juventus were tempted to sign Depay before he even went to Manchester, as we reported a while back.
