The market closed yesterday at 7pm without a big surprise for AC Milan. It started well with the acquisition of Taiwo, Mexes and El Shaarawy, and closed with some low cost acquisitions, like Aquilani and above all Nocerino. No Mister X, top player or presents from Berlusconi, who is busy with other issues at the moment. Milan needed a champion to make a jump in quality in Europe, but it never arrived.

Spanish and English clubs are ahead in Europe and the main target for Milan will be to win the Scudetto again.
