Monaco want to keep Juventus, Arsenal target Boschilia, Ligue 1's free-kick guru

Juventus and Arsenal are chasing Monaco youngster Gabriel Boschilia, according to French website FootMercato.

We’ve long written about the young Brazilian, who went on loan and impressed at Standard Liege recently.

Called the “new Juninho” by many, the sensation has already netted four Ligue 1 goals this season, three coming on free kicks, the trademark of his illustrious precedessor, who plied his trade with rivals Lyon.

Footmercato also reveal that Fenerbahce have already offered to sign Boschilia on an 18-month loan, but have been rejected.

Footmercato hint that the two European giants could be closer to signing Bernardo Silva, whom Monaco have resigned themselves to selling one day. The idea is that Boschilia is to be his successor.

Now making a serious case to be included in the starting team all the time, the 20-year-old Boschilia is on a deal which will run until 2020, and was signed for €9 million.
