Pioli to become new Inter manager: contract details revealed

Stefano Pioli is set to become the new manager of Inter and our transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano has exclusively learned the details of the Italian tactician.

Pioli, who is still under contract with Lazio, has already informed his old club that he needs them to cancel their previous agreement as the manager is set to join the nerazzurri side. Pioli was sacked as Lazio boss last April, after a heavy 4-1 defeat at hands of city rivals Roma. Oddly, Pioli’s first game in charge of Inter will be the derby of Milan.

The former Lazio is set to sign a contract until 2018 with a way-out clause which would allow the manager to get a payout in case he’s sacked before the natural expiration of his contract. A way out clause was also included in Frank De Boer’s contract.

Inter have chosen Pioli and an announcement will be made soon. Suning have finally decided to listen to Ausilio, Gardini and Zanetti, hiring an Italian manager who might give the team a bit of organization and balance. Pioli’s set to sign a one-year and a half deal with Inter, his era at the San Siro is about to begin.
