REPORT: Real Madrid want Dybala but Juventus won’t sell at any price

Real Madrid’s main transfer target this summer is Juventus’ Paulo Dybala. The news comes from Spanish programme ‘El Chiringuito’ who claim that the Blancos enquired about the 22 year-old during talks over whether to exercise or not their buy back option on striker Alvaro Morata.

Dybala, nickanamed the Joya, joined the Bianconeri last summer from Palermo and has impressed, bettering fellow Argentine Carlos Tevez’s total in his debut season at the Turin giants for goals scored in all competitions. In a bid to land their target, Real reportedly tried to offer Isco and James Rodriguez as part of a possible deal (who aren’t said to feature heavily in Zidane’s plans) but Juve’s managing director Beppe Marotta is unwilling to sit down and talk, no matter what the offer. The Argentine ace, who has netted 19 times in 34 league appearances this season, is said to be indispensable and not for sale at any price.

Real Madrid then are the latest club to see the door slammed shut over a move for Dybala after Manchester City were also turned away following an enquiry about the star. After dominating on the domestic front, Juventus now want the Champions League and to make that happen they have no intention of selling their prized assets: Real and others have been warned.
