REVEALED: Milan's shopping list in case Chinese, Pellegrini take over

With AC Milan being increasingly linked to a takeover by a Chinese consortium, the name of former Manchester City and Real Madrid Coach Manuel Pellegrini has been dropped on a number of occasions.

The consortium's Number 1 pick were the sale go through, Pellegrini would be able to lean on a considerable transfer kitty to bring the club back to its glory days. With that in mind, the time has come to analyze which players could be of interest to Milan.

The first two targets are both Real Madrid players: James Rodriguez and Isco have struggled under Zinedine Zidane, seeing their roles diminish significantly since the Frenchman took over at the Santiago Bernabeu.

There is a problem regarding the Colombian: his salary demands are simply too high, and who has a number of other clubs on his tail. Isco, on the other hand, is linked with Pellegrini in that the Chilean helped him become a star when the two were at Malaga together.

Who else? Milan have expressed an interest in two Mancunians, Samir Nasri and Matteo Darmian: Manchester United are not, however, ready to sell the former Torino player on the cheap, and would expect a similar amount to the 20 million they originally paid the Granata for his services.

Nasri would be expensive, but not as much as before. He is also not in demand because of his many misdemeanours, though he wants to play European football... and his deal expires in 2019.
