Roma: Rudiger can leave, destination PSG

Roma are searching for offensive reinforcements in January but to do this, they need to sell to boost their transfer kitty. According to today's Corriere dello Sport, the surprise name who could be sacrificed is German international defender Antonio Rudiger.

The 23-year-old has been out of action since the summer when he damaged knee ligaments training with the national team ahead of Euro 2016. Only last week he returned to training with his teammates at Trigoria and is making good progress in his recuperation. The giallorossi have looked unsettled at the back in his absence so these latest reports will come as something of a surprise to fans, who were looking forward to having him back on the pitch.

Rudiger joined the capital club from Stuttgart on-loan in 2015 before the Roman’s acquired his full signature in May 2016 for €9 million. French giants PSG have been long-time admirers and are thought to be ready to offer the giallorossi €30 million to secure his signature.
