Savic pleased by AC Milan, Juventus interest says agent

Stefan Savic moved from Fiorentina to Atletico Madrid last summer for € 10 million plus Mario Suarez. Last year’s deal, however, have left a bitter taste in both La Viola and the Colchoneros mouths as both Suarez and Savic have failed to live up to promises in their new clubs.

Suarez completed a January switch to Watford, whilst Savic has only racked up 25 appearances in all competitions this term as Diego Simeone has usually preferred Jose Maria Jimenez to partner Diego Godin in the heart of Atleti’s defence.

Linked with a summer return to the Serie A, Savic’s agent Zarko Pelicic told calciomercato.it that his client appreciates the interest of both Juventus and AC Milan.

“Stefan is pleased by those interests. He’s a great pro and of course there are many clubs interested. He’s one of the best players in that role.”

“However, he’s only focused on the Champions League final now”.

Savic, 25, has more than a chance to make his Serie A return in the summer. His price-tag is definitely less than last year’s € 25 million and with both the rossoneri and the bianconeri looking to signing a top-class central defender, Savic could be the answer to their needs.

    Where will he end up?
