Torino star Belotti: 'I feel good, I'm recovering'
The scorer of four Serie A goals in the opening two weeks, Andrea Belotti missed Torino’s defeat to Atalanta on Sunday, owing to a right thigh strain.
“I feel good, I’m recovering,” he told Sky Sport Italia, “I’m slowly trying to get back to my best form”.
The Gallo had a blinder against Bologna, netting a hat-trick in a 5-1 rout, not to mention a very convincing opening day performance against AC Milan, though his goal was marred by a penalty miss.
The youngster also had some kind words for former Torino team-mate Ciro Immobile, both of whom having been called up for Italy’s opening qualifying fixture against Israel.
“It would be great to play for Italy with Immobile. We’ve improved together, we’re great friends, and meeting again as Azzurri would be great”.
