AC Milan: idea Drenthe; Corchia unlikely to join in January. Inter: Paulinho costs 20 mls!

Despite last night’s defeat in Malaga, AC Milan Chief Executive Adriano Galliani has once again confirmed coach Massimiliano Allegri; as sublined by repubblica.it, Galliani doesn’t seem too convinced about the possible solutions for the immediate; but also finding a high-profile coach for the future will be extremely hard: according to the same media, in fact, the Lombard club’s situation is making Josep Guardiola doubtful about a possible future in Milan. Meanwhile, the rossoneri keep on working to enforce the team: regarding the defense, interviewed by calciomercato.com, Sochaux Sports Director Bernard Maraval has declared that he wouldn’t be surprised if Milan would be interested in 21 year old right back Sebastien Corchia, although at the moment there have been no contacts and it is extremely difficult that the France Under 21 national will leave in January; for the orher side of the defensive line, the new idea for Milan could be 25 year old Royston Drenthe. Regarding the offensive line, RKC Genk Sports Director Dirk Degraen has admitted to TMW that the Lombard club has been observing 23 year old Jelle Vossen. Moreover, Shakhtar Donetsk 24 year old midfielder Willian Borges da Silva “Willian” has declared that he would like to play for Inter or AC Milan.

The nerazzurri are indeed seeking a new midfielder, although their main target remains Corinthians 24 year old midfielder Paulinho; but, in addition to Paris Saint-Germain’s competition, there is another problem for Inter in the hunt for the Brazil national: according to the South American press, in fact, the termination clause added to the player’s contract amounts to 20 million euros and not to 15 as expected.
