Arsenal interested in Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes
The Sun (via Fichajes.net) claim that Arsene Wenger has set his sights on another junior prodigy, Leandro Paredes, who has found himself left with little playing time this season.
Considered a fascinating talent, Paredes shined in 33 Serie A starts last season on loan at Empoli, scoring twice and earning praise and interest from the likes of Milan, Juventus and Liverpool.
Paredes is appreciated for his technical ability, but especially his excellent vision and read of the game. The 22-year-old has started five Serie A games this season, appearing off the bench in as many more, netting one league goal in the process.
