    Laurent Blanc has spoken of three of his former Serie A players, calling Thiago Motta, Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic "emblematic to our vision. We'll keep them here as long as they're competitive.

    "Then again, as you all know, players whose contracts are running out can stay as they can leave when their deals expire".

    As a matter of fact, only Ibrahimovic's deal ends in 2016. Motta's expires in 2017, Silva's the following season.

    Milan fans can read something into this, but have previously been warned by agent Mino Raiola that Ibra won't likely return to Italy.
