BREAKING: Man Utd pounce on Chelsea, Arsenal target Manolas as Red Devils meet player’s agent
The Red Devils’ rivals had already contracted the player’s agent to sound out on Manolas’ availability to move out from AS Roma in the summer.
However, according to Di Marzio, representatives from the Old Trafford outfit met Manolas’ agent last week, trying to lead the chase to sign the 24-year-old centre-back whose price tag is believed to be in the region of € 40 million.
Even if Manolas has attracted the interest of several top European clubs, AS Roma have yet to receive any official offer for their solid-rock central defender, though taking a decision on the player’s future might not be as straightforward as one would think since the Italian club would only cash in half of the proceeds from any sale, should they sell Manolas in the upcoming summer transfer window.
