Cannavaro: 'We don't have stars, but have a great defence'
Fabio Cannavaro is sure. Italy will perform well in South Africa, even if the group lacks a real champion: "We don't have a star like Ronaldo, Messi or Rooney. In Italy there are no such players at the moment. The coach makes different choices. We can never play like Brazil, Spain or Portugal, like they would never be able to defend like us. We must believe it, to the end".
He closed with a comment on Marcello Lippi who could coach Al Alhi in Dubai after the World Cup: "I am not Lippi's agent. I read and I laughed. I don't know if he wants to coach next season. I made my choice because I wanted a change. I don't know his intentions. In Dubai the weather is hot and there is the sea, which could be good for Lippi... I'd like it if he came, but now he's got something more important to think about".
