Chelsea: Oscar set for possible Fenerbahce swich

On a day when one of the world’s finest midfield players, Andrea Pirlo, visited the clubs training complex, Sporx reports that Chelsea’s Brazilian midfielder Oscar is a January target of Turkish side Fenerbahce.

The 25-year-old looks surplus to requirements in Antonio Conte’s 3-4-3 formation and despite stories linking him with a move to Serie A this winter, it’s Fenerbahce that now look to be in pole-position.

Any move would be likely to be on an initial short-term loan-deal with Oscar not the only player the Turkish side have their eyes on. Real Madrid’s Isco, who is in a similar situation to Oscar in the Spanish capital, is also on the club’s radar but recent impressive performances by the Spaniard, may force coach Zinedine Zidane to keep the player in the squad for the second-half of the season.

With both players still only in their mid-twenties, both men have lots to offer any potential suitors. January looks set to be a vital month for both in deciding their immediate futures.
