De Boer: 'Here's what Inter need to win games'

Inter are set to face five vital games before the next International break with Frank De Boer’s side that do not want to lose ground and stay in touch with a Champions League placement, which, at the moment, is just two points far in the table.

Today’s edition of Il Corriere dello Sport reports what the Dutch boss told his lads yesterday in the dressing room ahead of their training session.

“Being called Inter is not enough to win games. You need to sacrifice, you need to run and to help each other. Be aware of your limits too and try to get over them.”

Cagliari will be travelling to the Meazza tomorrow to meet the nerazzurri. Cagliari are unbeaten in the last three away games against Inter and La Gazzetta dello Sport points out that Inter have wasted 125 points out of 294 in home games in the last four seasons.

De Boer believes that pressure of demanding fans is not enough to explain these poor results in home games and even Suning want to make the Meazza become ‘Inter’s new home of dreams’. To do that, however, the team would better start snatching more victories, starting from tomorrow’s Cagliari clash.
