Dimarco: 'Honoured to be linked to Inter, I'm improving defensively'
The 18-year-old has been one of the most encouraging left-backs in Serie A so far, having a good game against his parent club despite Empoli's 2-0 defeat.
"I'm honoured to be linked to Inter, but I'm focussed only on Empoli," he told transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, "De Boer relies a lot on youth, but I want to do well here.
"I'm a fullback and I like to attack a lot, but I'm improving defensively, too".
The 18-year-old then dropped a hint that an immediate return to the San Siro may not be the best thing:
"One thing is certain: Empoli is the best place to improve, both as a team and as a city".
