Juve: Draxler linked with a January move

Julian Draxler will be leaving Wolfsburg according to the club’s Sporting Director Klaus Allofs. Speaking to Sport 1, he explained that; “In relation to comments made in the past things have now changed. This time we will consider selling him if the right offer comes along”.

After failing in negotiations with PSG for a move to the French capital in the summer, the 23-year-old has basically lost interest in playing for the Bundesliga side and has now become a problem for new coach Ismael. In 10 appearances this season in all competitions, the German international has two big zero’s next to his name for both goals scored and assists, so a change of scenery looks to be the only solution.

Having been courted by Juventus in 2015, whilst he was playing for Schalke 04, Draxler is not currently an objective of the bianconeri but this should not rule out a possible move in the new year. There are many factors that could come into play; Juve Sporting Director Paratici has an excellent relationship with Han Jurgen, the father of the player and there is great harmony between bianconeri boss Allegri and the player. Draxler has a contract at Wolfsburg until 2020, do not be surprised if he fails to see out the remainder of his current deal.
