EXCLUSIVE: Juventus, why Dani Alves is easier to sign than Mascherano

Juventus are closing in on the signing of Dani Alves. The news was released yesterday night by Cadena Ser and CM.com has exclusively talked to Sique Rodriguez, the first journalist to be informed about the Old Lady’s interest for the 33-year-old right-back

Yesterday you informed us about the clause on Alves’ contract to leave the club for free: Do you know any more developments?
“Dani Alves is seriously considering a move to Juventus. He has an option which allows him to leave the club for free in the summer even if his contract expires in 2017. The club won’t block his departure because his salary is very high and his exit would allow them to save money.”

What about Mascherano? Do Juventus have any chance of signing him?
“Mascherano’s case is very different. Both Luis Enrique and Barcelona think extremely high of him and I believe he will remain at Barça. He has € 100 million release clause and the club could give him the money to pay a € 800.000 fine from Spain Tax Office.

Juventus are also interested in Andre Gomes? What about his future?
“André Gomes is a tremendous midfielder and I think Peter Lim can’t sell one of his best players. I don’t see him leaving Valencia in the summer, but I don’t know the details of negotiations.

Are Arsenal in pole position to sign Morata?
“What I can say is Real Madrid are going to activate their € 30 million buy-back clause and they want to sell Morata. The most plausible option is a move to the Premier League because they are the richest league in Europe.”

Can you confirm us that the agent of Callejon and Reina has offered his clients to Barcelona?
No. Not as far as I know. Actually, Barcelona are not even interested in signing Callejon. Reina, however, had already negotiated a move to Barcelona two years ago and with the blaugrana who are open to sell Bravo for a good offer, Reina could be an option for the future. The Catalans consider Marc-André ter Stegen unsellable.
